Schooner camp

Sage had his first day of camp on the Schooner Quinniapiac this morning. When I picked him up he said it was the best camp ever - he had so much to say about it. Usually Sage is a somewhat meloncolly kid who whenever I ask how things went - the usual response is "good". He obviously had a great time ! The sang sea chanty's, scrubbed the deks, tied the sails, and even learned to drive the boat. On Thursday we will get to take a tour of the boat the last hour of camp so I will have more pics then. These are pictures of the schooner arriving in to dock this afternoon. Ryan and I hung out while we watched them.

I was even able to get a pic of Sage without him knowing it and without embarrasing him. That is him in the red shorts and white hat.

This cool flower was growing out of the rocks near the dock.

Jellyfish!

Ryan and I were sad to see so much trash on the shore near the dock!
