My mom came for a visit Oct 20th and stayed until Ryan's 10th birthday on the 24th! We were all so happy to have her come for a visit to see our new home. It was a great visit! Here are a few of the highlights!
Day One - we headed to Sequim to see my cousin Pam and her family.

Day 2 we headed into Seattle to Pikes market and to the aquarium. This was my first trip to both places.

Day 3 we stayed near home and went out to Rattlesnake lake. It started raining when we got there but I am so glad we stayed because when the rain stopped we saw the most beautiful double rainbow! We also went over to the educational center and played around in there for a while.
Day 4 - RYans Birthday!!!! 10 years old, I can't believe it. We spent the morning just chillin' at the house and then headed into Issaquah for Ryan's guitar lesson which ended up being cancled and I did not know it till we got there! Oh well - we headed over the fish hatchery so that my mom could see the salmon. Later that night we went bowling for Ryan's birthday- his request. It was fun evening and our last with my mom. After the party we said our good nights and as we headed off to sleep Tony drove her to the airport so she could take the red eye flight home!! We were sad to see her go
